| We can provide management consultants to help you put into place a total quality plan which is tailored to the needs of your business and meet the standard necessary for registration to ISO 9001:2000
The process takes 3 to 9 months and involves a total commitment throughout the organisation.
- An initial assessment and report is made free of charge.
This is designed to assess how the organisations goals and objectives fit a total quality policy.
A gap analysis is carried out (half day).
- If it is agreed to go ahead this examines the work needed to be carried out and the planning and commitment needed to deliver the Standard. (This includes an assessment of the computer systems in the organisation.)
The plan is delivered and discussed with top management. This helps ensure their commitment to the project (half day).
- Presentation of the plans to key teams in the organisation and the production of briefing roles (1 day).
- Work on the plan progresses against key milestones and agreed dates. Progress meetings against these are carried out fortnightly. Staff are trained on the meaning of total quality and ISO900. (This helps understanding and commitment) (1 day)
- Internal auditors are trained or external auditors resourced to ensure the quality system can be monitored (1 day)
- Computer monitoring of the quality system is set up. This ensures a system that is flexible to growth within business needs (1 day)
- Standard letters and forms can be designed and implemented for the needs of your business (2 days)
